Foundations: Remove all rubbish organic matter, deleterious and organic material from the site. Place compact structural fill In any over — excavated footing areas. Footing bearing pressures are limited to 2,000 PSF. Footings shall bear on undisturbed Inorganic soil or well compacted structural fill capable of supporting the pressure indicated above; contractor to verify prior to construction. Structural fill is defined as i" minus granular material with a maximum of 15% passing a #200 sieve. No backfill shall be placed against pit walls until a minimum of seven (7) days have passed since concrete pour. 4. Concrete: Concrete shall attain a minimum compressive strength F'c = 3,000 psi at 28 days. Additions to the mix shall not be made at the jobslte. Maximum slump 4 "; minimum slump 2 ". Concrete shall contain a minimum of five and one —half bags of Portland cement per cubic yard. 5. Reinforcing Steel: Deformed bars shall conform to ASTM A615, Grade 60, Fy = 60,000 psi.
