I spoke with the homeowner about this proposal and informed him of two options:
1. Connect the house to sewer which is available and stubbed to the property (or at least apply for the sewer
connection permit and give us a copy if he wants to get started on the project sooner).
2. Apply for a variance requesting a reduced setback from the deck footings to the drainfield.
After one of these options has been completed we can release the deck permit (as long as the variance is approved if he
chooses option 2).
