LOCATION OF VIOLATION: 1215 North Arties Court SPOKANE COUNTY, WA.
CIRCUMSTANCES SUPPORTING PROBABLE CAUSE:
Records of the Spokane County Assessor's Office identify Peter
Waagenaar as the owner of the referenced property located at 1215
North Arties Court, Spokane County, Washington. Kevin Myre, an
inspector for the Division of Buildings, on July 15, 1992,
inspected the property located at 2327 North Arties Court Spokane
County, Washington and observed the following construction and
occupancy on said property: Attached Garage.
The records of the Division of Buildings show that on September
9, 1984, a permit had been issued for the said construction. On
July 15, 1992, the Division of Buildings notified the defendant, in
writing, of the permit requirement for final inspection of said
construction. As of the date of this affidavit, the records of the
Division of Buildings show no final inspection has been requested
and that occupancy or use has not been approved for the said
construction.
I certify under penalty of perjury under the laws of the State
of Washington that the foregoing is true and correct.

Dear Mr. Waagenaar:
A recent visual inspection indicated that the attached garage located
at the above referenced address, parcel number 55181.4210, has been
occupied without an approved final inspection.
It should be noted that Section 305(d) of the Uniform Building Code
requires that there be a final inspection and approval on all
buildings and structures when ready for occupancy or use. We are
therefore requesting that you contact this office immediately to
schedule this inspection.
A recheck of our files will be conducted within ten (10) days of the
date of this letter. Your attention to the above will negate the
need for further action.
Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me between

Dear Mr. Waagenaar:
A recheck of our records indicates that no arrangements have been
made for a final inspection of the attached garage located at the
above - referenced address. As stated in our (7/15/92)
correspondence, a final inspection and approval are required prior
to occupancy.
Therefore, we must require that notification be received by this
office as to the time frame needed to resolve this matter
immediately, or in 10 days from the date of this letter and
without further notice from this office, this entire matter will
be forwarded to the Spokane County Prosecuting Attorney's Office
for appropriate legal action.
