Any service station canopy may extend into the front or flan;cing street "yard" areas provided that the support columns are located in the pump islands and further provided that no canopy shall extend closer than fivo. (S) feet to any property lin2. h_ Driwe-in restaurant canopies for customer off-street parking service constructed parallel to a street may extend into the front yard setback area fifteen (15) feet, but no closer than twenty (20) feet from the front property line. Restaurant canopies constructed parallel to a street may come no closer than twenty (20) feet from the flanking street property line. Whenever a restaurant canopy for the off-street customer parking is constructed perpendicularly to a street, the canopy may extend to within five (5) feet of the property line. c. All other canopies may be cantilevered or projected from the building into the front or flanking street yard area not more than ten (10) feet. 4.17.040 Fence_s. No fencz over thirty-six (36) inches in haight may be erzcted within the required front yard of any lot used for residential purposes. This area can bz determined by measuring eighty (80) feet from the center of two intersecting streets along the centerlines of each street, then connecting the two points with a straight line forming the hypotenuse of the clear-view tr ic-j,ngle. Trees within tha clear- view traingle shall have their branches removcd at the tru-nk.from qround level to a minimum of seven (7) feet above ground lev~l. Shrubs within the clear- view triangle shall be rneintained no highzr than three (3) feet above grade elevation of the cent2rline of the ad j acent street, 4417.045 Electric Fences.
