legal counsel in securing compliance with the`Spokane County
Zoning Ordinance relating to your property.
Our file reflects that you were informed of"the
alleged violation in a letter from Mr. Marla Holman, Zoning,
Investigator for the Spokane County Building Codes Depart-
ment. Mr.'liolman's letter, dated February 19, 19004°re- .

Dear Mr. Dana:
The Spokane County Building Codes Department has
requested the assistance of this office, as their statutory
legal counsel in securing compliance with the Spokane County
Zoning Ordinance relating to your property.
Our file reflects that you were informed of the
alleged violation in a letter from Mr. Mark Holman, Zoning
Investigator for the Spokane County Building Codes Depart-
ment. Mr. Holman's letter, dated February 19, 1980, re-
quested that you take the necessary steps to bring your
property into compliance with the zoning ordinance by
removing a single wide mobile home from your property,
located at South 1505 Bettman, Spokane, WA. In addition,
Mr. Holman requested on or about July 9, 1980 that you
remove this single wide mobile home within 30 days of that
date and, as it appears in our file, you agreed to do so.
Our file also indicates that on or about August 14, 1980
you requested a 30 day extension for the removal of this
trailer, which was granted by Mr. Holman at that time.
However, our file reflects that as of this date, your
single wide mobile home is still located on said property
which is a violation of the Spokane County Zoning Ordinance.
The section of the Spokane County Zoning Ordinance
which you are allegedly in violation of is Section 4.05.100,
which states:

Prohibited uses in the agricultural suburban
zone include, but are not limited to, the follow-
ing:
(d) Mobile home, single wide as defined in
Chapter 4.03.
Please be advised that a violation of the Spokane
County Zoning Ordinance is a misdemeanor, and upon conviction
thereof, you shall be subject to a fine of not more than
$250.00 and/or by imprisonment in the County Jail for not
more than 90 days. Lach day that a violation is permitted to
exist shall constitute a separate offense.
Be further advised that you have ten days from the
date of this letter to secure compliance with the Spokane
County Zoning Ordinance provisions relating to your property
or make other arrangements with Mr. Mark Holman at the Spokane
County Building Codes Department. If you fail to do so,
this office will be obligated to file a criminal complaint
against you at the request of the Spokane County Building
Codes Department.
