My computer completely garbled the last one. Thank you for your timely response. I have some additional questions and information: (1) The garage addition will have to be engineered by a Washington state licensed engineer, because it is of pole barn construction. Stamped plans must be submitted. (2) Are all of the 2' x 6" studs at 24" on center? (3) A radon system is required for any residential addition. (4) R10 insulation is required on the perimeter of a slab on grade to a depth of 2 feet; R21 is required in the walls; and R38 is required in the attic of the house addition.
