RE: No Address Posted - 45262.0810
Dear Mr. Field:
A DIVISION OF THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
DENNIS M. SCOTT, P.E., DIRECTOR
A recent visual inspection indicates that address numbers have not been posted on your
residence. Our records show the address to be posted is 1717 South Bolivar Road.
In the event of an emergency, it would be very difficult to locate the correct address and
could possibly slow emergency responses to your property, as well as your neighbors.
It should be noted that the Uniform Fire Code requires that the numbers contrast with
their background and be visible from the street in order to aid in locating properties in
and emergency.
It is extremely important that the following items be accomplished as soon as possible:
1. Post your address for emergency vehicle purposes, as required in Section
10.208 of the Uniform Fire Code, be in alignment with the surrounding
residences.
2. Notify your post office of your address.
3. Notify your telephone company of the change.
Your cooperation will be greatly appreciated. Should you have any questions, please
feel free to contact this office between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., weekdays.
