SCOTT, P.E., DIRECTOR A recent visual inspection indicates that address numbers have not been posted on your residence. Our records show the address to be posted is 1717 South Bolivar Road. In the event of an emergency, it would be very difficult to locate the correct address and could possibly slow emergency responses to your property, as well as your neighbors. It should be noted that the Uniform Fire Code requires that the numbers contrast with their background and be visible from the street in order to aid in locating properties in and emergency. It is extremely important that the following items be accomplished as soon as possible: 1. Post your address for emergency vehicle purposes, as required in Section 10.208 of the Uniform Fire Code, be in alignment with the surrounding residences. 2. Notify your post office of your address. 3. Notify your telephone company of the change. Your cooperation will be greatly appreciated.
