RE: Permit Requirements - Parcel # 45262.1601
Our plumbing inspector, Chip Allen, reports that indoor plumbing is occuring in your building
located at the above-mentioned address, Spokane County Parcel No. 45262.1601. In checking
our records, we are unable to locate a valid permit. A building permit is required under Section
106.1 of the Uniform Building Code as adopted by Spokane County.
Should our records be in error, or should you have any information that would otherwise be
helpful in resolving this matter, please contact us as soon as possible.
If a permit has not been obtained, Section 304(e) of the Uniform Building Code required that an
investigation fee be charged whenever any work for which a permit is required has commenced
without first obtaining the permit.
The intent of this letter is to waive the investigation fee, provided you take appropriate action to
obtain a permit within ten (10) days of the date of this letter.
A recheck of our files will be conducted within 10 days of the date of this letter. Your attention
to the above prior to this date will negate the need for further action.
Please contact this office as soon as possible in order that this matter may be resolved. Our
office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday - feel free to contact us either in
person at the address below or call 456-3675.
