Jeffrey Forry, of the Spokane County Department of Building and Safety,
has contacted our office regarding an alleged violation of Section 301
of the Uniform Building Code in connection with the relocation of a
residence on a basement foundation located at East 8807 Boone.
Specifically, it is alleged that no building permit has been obtained
for the relocated residence located at East 8807 Boone.
Please be advised that a violation of the Uniform Building Code
constitutes a misdemeanor. As such, it is punishable by up to ninety
(90) days in jail, a fine of up to $500, or by both such fine and
imprisonment.
Please take immediate steps to obtain the required permit. Your failure
to do so within thirty (30) days of the date of this letter may result
in a complaint being filed against you for a violation of the Uniform
Building Code.
