Gantlemea:
At a meetiag of the Spokane Couaty Plenning Comaission held Thursday aftornoon,
Juno 25, 1953, the following action vras taken and is recommended to the Board of
County Comnissioners :
I APPLICdTION5 TO MODIFY N021-C01TFO'-,U4I1TG USES
1. Approval of aa application of Roy V. h'arner, et al. , E. 71C2 Tenth, for a
wAiver of violation of 61 on Lote 8 and 11, Alock 1, kroodlawn Park Addition,
and a waiver of front yard of 51 on Lota 9 and 10, Rlock 11 Woodlawn P€uck
Additlon, lying between Eighth & 1+Tinth oa the north ond south and Park and
Girard on the east end weaL in a Suburban zone, An unintentional error
was made in the intPrpre± ation of the survey of the property.
2. Approval of an application of Iree McAride, S2316 I,incoln, for a waiver of
front~yard requirements of approximately 6 to 10 feet on part of the SE~
of S~4 of Sec. 16-25-42 on Greenwood road just west of Groves Road, on the
north side of the street in an Unclassifiad zone. Unusual topographical
features, i.e., a rock outcropping on a portion of the lot making it
impossible to locate the garage in accordance with the eetablished set
back requirements.

running north and south on the east boundEry of the plat be extended into

2. KIIaROY ADDITIONs approved as presented with the condition that a statement
be inserted in the dedication pertaining to ava3lability of water at the
time of sale. It is further recommended thlt the balance of the street be
completed before the p'.at is accei,)ted and filed.

2. IIAMILTON AUTO ti'TRECKIITG YARD: Mr. 3chadeg,g reported oa his ingeatigatfon.
He atated it would be an improvement to what he has there now; Ae can't
see thet it is a traffic hazard; There will be no approach from over the
bridge, there are approachea off the intersection; 14ost of the yard is
covered from the bridge; and an eight (S) feet pa.inted sight--obscuring
fence was recommended to be put around the yard on toth Francis and Market
streeta. Mr. .Myhre and 14r. Fo ss een were appo inted as a committee of two
to make a further investigation o..nd report at the naxt meeting.
3. S& F COYSTRUCTTON COIYlPANY: Messrs. I'folf and Anderson reForted that
a.fter investigation the permit should be granted. They could see no
reason for reversing the recummendations to the Coa.miseioners.
4. PUBLIC RELATIOrT5: Mr. Myhro reported he tal.ked to both the Chronicle and
Review rega,rding the article in the puper about the S 8e F Construction
nermit, written by Margaret Bean, and it was suggeated that NSr. Cuaningham
send the Spokesman--Review the article he wrote in reply.
5. It was announced by the Chairnan thnt no meeting prior ta the last meeting
in July be held And no meeting wr.ataoever be held in August.
6. TERM 4F OFFICE: A committee was appointed to meke a recommendntion as to
the length of term of office and ae to the yeare of expiration of term
of office for eacn ¢amber. Thie suggeetion was made in order that the
apriintmente and terms of office may comply with the provision of the State
Law pertaining to Planning Cammissione. T'ne following report presented
by Mr. Schadagg, Chairman of the Commititee, was approved and is recommonded
to the Board of County Commissianers. It was suggested that the members
of the P'Lanning Commission $ubmit blanket resign;:,tions at the end of thia
yesr and that tr,e Commiasioners reappoint the members of the Commission
for terme to expire in accordence k►ith the following table.
