Thls sytem ws.ll be deslgned to prov-ide a first-class water system
lnstalla.tian It will be znstalled in such a manner go as tv receive a
Class 1 Ra,ting from the 1nTashz.ngtan Survey and Rating Bureau Water main.s
shall be nv smaller than 611, these lines shall iae of steel pipe up to
and including 10", mus t be 10 gauge d dippe d at the fa ctory s.n an approve d
manner and wrapped wlth either 15# asbestos or 40# rag felt wrapper,
steel pipe larger than 10" must be ? gauge Contrvl valves shall be
installed approximately every 1300t, fire hydrants s.n.stalled so as to

minlmum of 411 main valve opening and of a qua.llty equal to Mueller #A24046
