1. AN~IqDi1l1ENTS TO SPOKANE CQJNZ'Y ZONING ORDINANCE TITLE IV
To consfder and recommend to the Board of County Commissiozers,
Amendment to the Spokane County Zonfng Ordinance, Titie IV.
1. Authorfty of the Board - V`Jafver of Vlolatlons
~ The purpose of said amendment Is to add fences and struct ures to
a list of items that can be considered for a Waiver of Violation.
2. Uses Permitted - Storaqe
The purpose of said amehdment is to ddfine the storage of
inftammable liquids and gases as a permitted use, lf stored ili
underground tanks, in accordance with uniform standards Pres -3ribed
by the State Ffre Marsha.l and the Fire District concerned.
30 "Uses Permltted" Under all Zones
The purpose of satd amendment is to clarify and add provlslons
requlreing all permitted uses to have co ntinuous frontage on an
establf shed and maLntained public street or road.
4. "Uses Permitted - 11, 000 Sq. Ft, and 90 feet of Frontaae.
The purpose of said amendment ts to repeal two famlly resLdences
(duplexes) as a permitted use in the Agricultural Zone.
5. Tp constder and recommend to the Board of County Commissioners
an amendment to the SQokane County 7oning Ordlnance, Title IV.
The purpose of safd amendment ls to establtsh the provision wherelgy
the Board of County Commisstoners upvn recommendation from the
Planning Commission and/or the Planning Department, attach speclfLc
conditions to zone changes for any of khe zone classifications where
it is deemed necessary for the protection of the public health, safety
or wel fare .
2. As per Chapter 4.21.030 of the Spokane County Zonfng Ordinance, Mrs.
Edward S. Oravec, Jr., on behalf of the re sidents of Ponderosa Second
Addltton, is requesttng the Planning Commisslon to initlatE action to
change the zoning map.
N4TE: To change the Agricultural Suburban Zone (AS) ciasstfication to the
Single Family Residne-tial ?one (R-1) classification.
