The water mains have been installed. Utility easements
have been satisf ied and water is available for fire protection.

Department recommendations for same.

SUBJECT: PROPOSED PRELIMINARY PLAT - PONDRA EAST (PE-988-75)
1. Reference is to proposed revision of subject received from you on November 18, 1975.
2. Our review of this proposal indicates soils are suitable for individual on-site
sewage disposal systems, however, topography is a problem on certain lots as
follows:
a. Lot 1 will require careful location of the house to preserve a
drainfield site located north of the culdesac. We assume a
drainage easement wilY essentially bisect this lot beginning
at the SW corner and extending northeasterly.
b. Lot 2 is unsatisfactory due to excessive slope near the culdesac
and the ill-defined drainage traversing the lot generally along
the north boundary and curving southeasterly to a point
approximately 50 feet south of the NE corner. Sponsor may 4be-
-zb~_=,#.o submi t pl ans for fi 11 or other means of confi ni ng run-off
water in order to salvage this lot in this plan layout.
c. Lots 3,4,5 and 6 are satisfactory.
d. Lots 7 and unnumbered (#8) have suitable drainfield areas essentially
only on top of the ridge running northeasterly through these lots.
Due to the slopes involved, it appears basement sewering of houses
on these lots will require lift pumps to reach a suitable elevation
for gravity sewering of the remainder of the house.
