SUBJECT: Request for additional information regarding building permit applications for
newly created lots (Lot 11 and Lot 12 of Block 16) from BLA-09-06 located on the
NW corner of Chronicle Road and 15th Avenue.
Mr. Stirn:
The four (4) requested building permits where received on August 18, 2006 for lots (Lots 11-12 of
block 16 and Lots 1-2 of block 27) which did not correspond to current the legal lot configuration.
On September 27, 2006 I recorded a boundary line adjustment which reconfigured Lots 10-12 of
Block 16 into new Lots 11 & 12 under Auditor's File Number (AFN) 5440370. The following
comments apply to the building permits for new Lot 11 and new Lot 12 of block 16.
1. The building permit application does not reflect which lot (Lot 11 or Lot 12) applies to the
current application nor are the addresses correct. Please update the application by
indicating the specific lot and the following addresses.
a. New Lot 11 (north half of Lot 10-12 of block 16) is addressed as 1420 S. Chronicle Rd.
b. New Lot 12 (south half of Lot 10-12 of block 16) is addressed as 1424 S. Chronicle Rd.
2. The site plan does not reflect the correct address, legal description, actual lot size and lot
configuration approved and recorded under BLA-09-06. Additionally the location of the
100 year flood plain must be located on the site plan as indicted on the boundary line
adjustment map. Please resubmit a new site plan for each lot.
3. The location and names of roads are not clearly indicated. New Lot 11 must show
Chronicle Road and new Lot 12 must show Chronicle Road and 15th Avenue.
The City has not yet received a boundary line adjustment application for Lots 1-2 of block 27. The
City will not review the building permit applications for these lots until such time a boundary line

adjustment has been approved and recorded for the subject lots. Until such time, they will remain
on hold with the Building Division. Keep in mind the Planning Division will assign addresses for
the subject lots.
