Dear Mr. Rickey:
I am writing as a follow up to our conversation last week in the Permit Center
regarding the above referenced parcel and your development intentions.
After discussing your situation with my supervisor Greg McCormick, it has been
determined that you will be allowed to build a shop with a small apartment on this
parcel. All new structures must meet the development standards for the R-3 zone
including size, building coverage, and setbacks. Additionally, pursuant to section
19.40.020(B) (Residential Standards) of the Spokane Valley Municipal Code, you
will be required to pave the driveway from the property line to the new structure.
