1.Convene Meeting: Tom convened the meeting at 8:33 a.m.
2.Minutes of February 19, 2014: Consensus to approve the minutes as presented.
3.Accident Prevention Plan:
Topic: Hazardous Materials
John Now that staff was trained on the GHS in May we need to perform the following:
o
1) Get a sub-group together from staff to identify chemicals; 2) Identify chemicals in
the workplace; 3) Let staff know what chemicals are in their work area and where
they can find information on these chemicals.
John will send out an email to the Directors asking for them to name the person
responsible for their department/sub-department for CD and PW. Finance needs to
have their own contact as well.
Group will be responsible for labeling all chemicals within their area and log them
4.Safety Concerns:
One accident Brian Happeny in the Permit Center tried to move a water cooler. He reinjured an old
back injury but is now back to work.
5. Other Business:
AED there are state regulations in owning an AED device
Must be prescribed by a physician
Must be trained by licensed professional: Dept. of Health stated:
Train staff done already through Inland NW Health

When AED was purchased, it comes with the prescription when registered online
o
Must register device with local EMS John will do
o
Once registered, AED goes onto Pulse Point
o
