WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Revised Code of Washington, Section 36.32.120(6),
the Board of County Commissioners of Spokane County has the care of County property and the
management of County funds and business; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners adopted by ResolutionNo. 77-610 a temporary
closure of Center. Drive north of the north line of Lot 2, BIock 1, Beverly Hills I' Addition; and
WHEREAS, the owner of Lot 1, Block 1, Beverly Hills 1" Addition which is north of and
adjacent to Lot 2, Block 1, Beverly Hills 1" Addition whose sole access is from Center Drive has
requested an approach to Center Drive for a single family home; and
WHEREAS, at the tune of the temporary closure Lot 1, Block 1, was a vacant lot and did
not require access and the legal description states north of the north line of Lot 2, Block 1,
Beverly Hills 1" addition; and
WHEREAS, the County Engineer recommends that the Board of County Commissioners amend
Resolution No. 77-610 to allow access to Lot 1, Block 1, Beverly Hills 1st Addition.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners- of Spokane County,
Washington that the recommendation of the County Engineer is approved and Board of County
Commissioners Resolution No. 77-610 is amended to allow access on Center Drive for one (1) single
family home on Lot 1, Block 1, Beverly Hills 1" Addition.
