I represent Richard M. Kassa, president of Kastar Corporation,
with reference to your letter of September 13, 1978 delineating
13 alleged deficiencies in the residence. All deficiencies
have been corrected withthe exception of item No. 4 "Carpet on
:door is uneven, needs r6stretching" and the reason for -this is
that the Courchainels are seldom at home when Mr. Kassa calls
and, further.,, before getting . involved in the, very costly job of
restretching, we want written assurance of the property owner
that completion of same will release Kassa of any further liability.
In other words, since 12 of 13 alleged deficiencies have been
eliminated and the one remaining alleged deficiency is very expen-
sive to correct, Kassa will undertake correction of same upon
assurance that hes will be discharged from any further claims and
responsibilities in regard to the property. Kassa and I Await
your reply.
