The original plans provided stamped and signed engineering for basement walls over 8' in height.
After site excavation the home owner and contractor decided to use 7'-11" high basement walls which now
fall into the prescriptive requirements of the I.B.C./I.R.C. and no longer require the stamped and signed
engineered basements walls originally provided.
