An.Ordinance Providing for the Annexation to the Town
of Fairfield of Certain Property Contiguous Thereto,
In the County of Spolcane, State of Washington.
WHEREAS, proceedings have boen'had for—the.-nnnexation '
to the Town of Fairfield the property hereinafter
described, in accordance with RCW 35.13.125 to RCW
35.13.160
NOW THEREFORE, THE TOWN OF FAIRFIELD DOES ORDAIN:
that the following described property immediately
contiguous to the Town. of Fairfield, and 'each and
every part thereof be, and thesame is hereby
annexed to said town, and that the corporate limits
of the Town of Fairfield be, and are hereby,
extended so as to include therein the said property
particularly bounded and described as follows;

ZONING ADJUSTOR DECISION: After public testimony and review, the decision
of the Zoning Adjustor is to approve the applicant's request for a Special Permit and
Variance. _
A. FINDINGS: Pursuant to Section 4.25.030 of the Spokane County Zoning
Ordinance, the Zoning Adjustor has the responsibility of determining that the
granting of this application will not be detrimental to the surrounding
properties. In assuring compatibility, the Zoning Adjustor based his decision
on the testimony presented at the above noted Zoning Adjustor Hearing as well
as criteria set forth in the Spokane County Zoning Ordinance for review of this
application. The Zoning Adjustor hereby finds the following:
1. A review of land uses in the general area indicates there are a
considerable number of multiple family dwellings already in existence.
2. Area zoning show that Commercial and Multiple Family zoning is in the
immediate vicinity.
3. This permit application is consistent with good land use principles of
locating multiple family units in the vicinity of Commercial zones and with
areas having similar uses.
4. It was found that the strict application of the Zoning Ordinance would
deprive the subject property of rights and privileges enjoyed by other
properties in the vicinity.
5. The granting of this Variance, in the opinion of the Zoning Adjustor, is
not a granting of special privileges as evidenced by other properties
having the same rights and privileges in the vicinity and under, identical
zone classification.
B.. ORDER:
This application is hereby approved subject to:
1. Applicant dedicate the easterly 5 feet of Ellen Road to Spokane County for
future road improvement.
2. Applicant agrees to participate in a future RID or CRP for improvement of

ZONING ADJUSTOR DECISION: After public testimony and review, the decision
of the Zoning Adjustor is to approve the applicant's request for a variance.
