Dear Ms. Graham:
With regards to our conversations of October 8, 1981, enclosed is a copy
of Section 4.03.020(27) of the Spokane County Zoning Ordinance which out-
lines the requirements for a Home Occupation.
In order to continue operation of your Dog Grooming Business, at its
current location, it must be in compliance with these requirements, as
Section 4.05.100(b) of the Spokane County Zoning Ordinance prohibits
general commercial uses in an Agricultural Suburban Zone, in which the
above reference property is located, with exception of Home Occupations
(4.05.040(d).
In our conversations, we discussed the current violations of subsection C
and D. We are of the opinion that since you have now been informed of the
requirements of the Spokane County Zoning Ordinance, a period of 30 days,
beginning with your receipt of this letter, should be sufficient time in
which to bring your property into compliance.
Do not hesitate to act upon this important matter, since a violation of the
Spokane County Zoning Ordinance is a misdemeanor and does carry a pentaly.
If you wish to discuss these findings, have any questions, or believe these
