RE: REQUEST FOR FEE RE~UND FOR ZONE RECLASSIFICATION ZE-07-O1
Dear Nis. Thoraburg:
I received your November 2b, 2001 letter in which you request refund of fe~es paid to the Division
of Planning for Zone Reclassification ZE-17-41. After review of the project file and the 2001 Zoning and Land Use Fee Schedule, we have determined the following.
The Division of Planning accepted the Zone Reclassification application and fee of $2,3b7 on
August 24, 2001. A Technical Review meeting was held on September 20, 2001 and subsequent
to the Technical Review meeting, no further processing has occurred and no public notice has
been provided. As specified by Section VIII B[3] of the Fee Schedule, a 50% refund of fees will
be provided if the Planning Director or designee determines that the request is made prior to any
mailing of notice or if any processing by the County has occurred. Given the above, the Division
of Planning will refund 50% of the $1,934 Zone Reclassification fee, which excludes the non- refundable pre-conference fee of $58, the $75 SEPA Checklist fee, and the $200 Engineering and
$100 Utilities fee for a total refund of $967.
Copies of your November 2b, 2001 letter will be forwarded to the Division of Engineering and
Utilities for their consideration and possible refund of their respective fees.
If you have any questions or need additional assistance, please contact me at your convenience.
Sincerely,
ohn Pederson
