This office is in receipt of the agenda for the April 30, 1971 Planning
Commission meeting and would offer comments on the following items
ZE-27-71 This office would not oppose the rezoning of the area in
question, but would again remind the Commission of the
restriction of access to vehicles left•turning into and out
of the development onto State Route 27 (Pfnes Road)
ZE-40-71 Thi s of f ice was f urni shed a copy of the proposed deve lopment
in the area bounded by the egisting frontage road connectfon
to Barker Road, SR 90 and Barker Road, and based on this
development proposal, would at least oppose the rezoning
based on the distinct difference in elevation in the parcel
" in question In addition, the parcel contained within an
~ area that would be within an interchange provided a full
diamond interchange configuratzon could be achieved through
a safety improvement program
The elimination of the two•way ramp by development of a
diamond interchange ramp in the northeast quadrant would
realize a major safety updating of the traffic flow pattern,
and thus the developer shouldbe alerted to the possibility
of denial of access to the proposed ramp
ZN-43-71 This office would view the rezoning as a continuance of
existing zoning north of Francis which exists east and west
of the area under consideratfon and thus would not oppoae
the rezoning
