COMMISSION
Planrung Commission Recommendation Approve to Acrncultural Zone
Background
At the March lOth hearing, the PZanrung Commission derued a request for
Residential Mobile Home zoning for a two block area because the Commission
was of the opinzon that the residentially developed area was not conducive to
permanent mobile homes or trailer courts The Commission agreed to
readverfiise the Agncultural Suburban portion of the area for Agrlcultural
zorung to consider the possibility of allowing individual trailers on a
temporarv basis through the Conditional Use Permit procedure
A Reasons
1 At le ast two mobile home s have been e stabli shed withun the 11 1/2
acre area The Agricultural classification would allow the owners
to legalize the trailers through the Conditional Use Perma.t procedure
2 The Commission is of the opiruon that mobile homes on an individual
and temporary basis would not be detrlmental to existing residential
development in the area The Commission notes that there are only
four remairung building sites within the area contairung 16 ownerships
3 The Agricultural Zone is the predominate classification within the
Trent Neighborhood lying north of Trent Avenue Most of the tracts
within the advertised area have enough depth to allow arumal
keeping on the rear portions of the ownerships without significantly
interfering with adjoirung re sidenttal uses
