Background
The Planning Commission has been re-evaluating the existinq Multiple
Family 5uburban zoned areas in the Spokane Valley to determine whethe_
the existing areas are approprlate for 1) apartments, 2) rrobxle homes
3} single family residences and duplexes, or 4) other uses The
Commis sion has been subsequently rezoning many of the 1VIultiple Fami'A v
Suburban areas into more appropriate classifications
A Reasons
1 The adverti sed propertie s were zoned in 1966 to Multiple Fa mily
Suburban at the re que st of the property ow ners to provf de f or
mobile homes on individual lots
2 Eight mobile homes and three residences are currently
established in the area
3 The subject properties are somewhat remov2d from suburban
residentfal development Most of the immediate properi.ies
