ZE-86-70 - MULTIPLE FAMILY SUBURBAN TO RELSIDENTIAL MOBILE HOME ZONE:
PLANNING COMMISSION
(Curtis Park Club Tracts)
Planning Commis sion Recommendation: Approve to Re sidential Mobile
Home Zone.
Background:
The Planning Commission has been reevaluating the existing Multiple
Family Suburban zoned areas in the Spokane Valley to determine whether the
existing areas are appropriate for: 1) apartments, 2) mobile homes, 3)
single family residences and duplexes, or 4) other uses. The Commission
is subsequently rezoning many of the Multiple Family Suburban areas into
more appropriate clas sifications .
A. Reasons:
1. The advertised property was zoned Multiple Family Suburban in
1961 to provide for mobile homes on individual ownerships.
2. Approximately 20 mobile homes have been legally established
within the advertised area.
3. The advertised lots are physically separated from the residential
propertie s to the we st by a low ridge.
4. The platted lots are somewhat smaller than standard single-family
lots and were desiqned for mobile homes rather than standard
construction housing.
B. General Data:
1. Location: Section 19, Township 25 N. , Range 44, EVVM.
Lots 1 through 4, Block 1 and Lots 1 through
6 of Block 2 of Curtis Park Club Tracts.
Also Lots I through 11, Block 1; Lots 1
