Planning Commission Recommendation: ApProve to Residenttal Mobile
Home Zcne.
Backqround:
The Planning Commission has been reevaluating the existing Multiple
Family Suburban zoned areas in the Spokane Valley to determine whether
the existing areas are appropriate for: 1) apartments, 2) mobile homas or trailer courts, 3) single family residences and duplexes, or 4) other uses.
The Commission is subsequently rezoning many of the Multiple Fama.ly
Suburban areas into more appropriate classifications.
A. Reasons;
1, The subject property is developed as a five (5) stall trailer colil-;-
established by a Conditional Use Permit (CUE-80-70).
2, In 19 69 , the Planning Commi s sion zoned many of the propp-rtie s
lying west of Park Road between the Spokane Valley Freewcy a?:J
Broadway Avenue to the Residential Mobile Home Zone (ZE-37-59).
The advertised property lies within the described area and was
zoned Multiple Family Suburban when surrounding properties wer,--
zoned Re sidential Mobile Home.
3. iviobile homes have been established to the east, north, and vaest
of the advertised trailer court property.
