Iviultiple Farrdly Suburban Zonas in thi,- Spokane Valley and to recommend
appropriata zoning for thesa araas because of the impanding change to the
Zoning Ordinanca (deleting mobila homas and mobilo. homz courts from tha
Multipla Family Suburban Zone).
A. Reasons
In 1963, Sie sta iViobil%~. rark tiddition was sp~,-cifically designc;d an
platted for mobile homes on individual lots. In 19 65, iliasta Mobila
Park First Addition was filed. All Iots and standards conform to the
Residential Mobile Homa Zone. TVtost of the lots in tha proposal are

DEAR PROPERTY OWNER:
Accompanying this letter you will find a notice of a proposed rezoning
action to appear on the agenda of the Planning Commission this month. We
felt that it was desirable to explain further to you why this matter was being
considered.
When your mobile home court (or plat) was established it was zoned
3Vlultiple Family Suburban. Since that time the Commf ssion has established
a new zone particularly for mobile homes; namely, the Residential Mobile
Horne Zone. The Commi ssion is now revaluating all Multiple Family Suburban
Zones to determine whether they should be reclassified into the Mobile Home
Zone or to remain iv[ultiple Family Suburban. Since your area was designed
specifically for mobile homes and has developed or is developing almost
excl.usively for mobile home use, the Commission instructed us to advertise
and notify you of their intent to consider reclas sifying your property to the
Ivlobile Home Zone.
You are, of course, invited to appe ar at the he aring january 29 , 19 7 0,
or to call our office if you have any questions. I want to emphasize that the
new zoning proposed f s intended to further encourage the development and use
of your property for mobile home s.
