Lily Road Spokane Valley, WA 99212-1536 RE: Paving of driveway Dear Ms. Rodman: I am writing as a follow up to our conversation this morning regarding your property located at 3318 N. Lily Road and the proposed construction of an attached carport structure. I have spoken with my supervisor, Scott Kuhta, and he has indicated that since the existing unimproved driveway has been used for access and parking for years, the City will not require you to pave the driveway as a condition of the carport approval. Additionally, as a clarification on the setback issue, the foundation wall is required to be located no closer than 5 feet to the property line. However, the eve of the roof may extend up to two (2) feet into the required setback, or be as close as three (3) feet to the property line. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at 509.720.5333 or christina.janssen@spokanevalley.org. Sincerely, U(26_4/ Christina J.
