In response to your request for information concerning the road improvemen~
condi ti ons for ~H-16i -736tni s offi ce has determi ned that the present mi n i riijm
imprcvements to Indiana Avenue should include curbing, construction or
arprcpriate approaches, installation of appropriate drywel1s, and widpning of Lhe existing gravel roadway to a minimum 30 foot width. Paving of the south
half of Indiana Avenue is also to be the responsibility of the developer.
Since the paving of a half street is not practical, this requirerent may
be postponed if the developer agrees with Spokane County to provide the half
street paving at such time as additional c+evelopments or resulting Rone changes
in the area are required to improve the north half of Indiana Avenue. Such paving
improvement may be processed as a road improvement district or as a paving
participation pr°oject with Spolcane County. The developer's Engineer shauid I
submit to this office the existing road grade, proposed road grade and site pian
o-' the proposed developrtent so that the specific cross section and paving widl~,
of the road may be determined. Provisions for the initial improvements musi
