Merritt, P.E. 216 South Long Road Spokane Valley, WA 99016 Re: Merritt Subdivision (216 S Long, SUB 02-07) Street and Drainage Plan Acceptance The Civil Plans and Drainage Report for the above-mentioned project, which Development Engineering received on August 12, 2008, have been reviewed and found to be consistent with pertinent development regulations and thus have been accepted provided the minor corrections described below are done. Prior to Development Engineering signoff on the grading permit, the following items shall be addressed: 1. The project engineer must submit Mylars for signature. 2. The following minor corrections will be checked on the Mylars prior to signing. a. Need developer's signature on the cover sheet b. The utility easement is shown within the drainage easement. They cannot overlap but the easement can be designated as utility and drainage easement. 3. The project engineer must make five paper copies of the signed Mylar. The original Mylar and the five paper copies must be returned to Development Engineering. 4. A pre -construction conference is not required. Attached are our construction comments. Please let us know who will be providing weekly reports, who will be doing the testing and who will submit the Certification package. Next steps: 5. Contact the Planning Department for additional conditions that may exist. 6. Contact the Building Department (688-0036) for other requirements and needed permits (e.g. right-of-way obstruction permit). 7. Final Plat — a. Contact Development Engineering prior to first submittal of final plat to obtain plat language, address any other prerequisites and submit. b.
