Sorry Senior Building Technician Department of Buildings West 1303 Broadway Spokane, WA 99260-0550 Dear Mr. Forry: In response to your letter of October .31, 1991, 1 wish to res)ond to your inquiry regarding a permit for a carport on my property. I have owned this property since 1982. The previous owner constructed this house and carport in 1972. I understand there is no permit on record for the carport., Therefore,,I am looking into the various solutions I might have to this problem. I wish to comply with the regulations concerning the location of a carport. Since it hast stood here for nineteen years, I feel it would be a terrible waste of a useful structure simply to re-I'llove it, so I am endeavoring to learn vuhat I need to alter in order to be able to acquire the permit for it. When I have arrived at a solution, I will apply for a permit. Sincerely, Dorothy A. Seivers
