As explained by Nir. Jenner, the existence of the rail- raad south of Trent put9 that land in a different category from the land on the nvrth 9ide of Trent which is not lvcated vn trackage. The economy of Spokane County i+rill best be served by pre,serving fQr industrial use land sexved by both trackS and highwVs. af courae that wauld not preclude carnmercial use if such use be in any case deemed the best us$ of the land. What we want tv avoid is a situativn when we would have to appl,Y for zoning change every time we have an opportunity to locate an industry on our property.
