aJe have been asked today to investigate a ma.tter on beha.lf
of George McCallum and the other owners, which we understan,d is
to come before the Planning Commission at its meeting on January
25, 1962.
Thia matter, as we understand it, has to do with the change
of clasaification of certain property at 10403 East Sprague Avenue
and our information is that the property is more particularly
described as follows:
Part of the Southwest iduarter of the Southeast Quarter
of the Southeast Quarter (SW)4 of SE}4 of SE34) of Section
5eventeen (17)9 Township Twenty-five (25) North, Range
Forty-four (44), East of the Wills.mette Meridian, in the
County of Spokane and State of Washington, more particularly
described as follows, to-wit:
Beginning at a point on the North line of the right-of-way
of the Spokane & Inland Fmpire Railroa.d 80 feet North of the
Southeast corner of said Southxest Quarter of Southeast
Quarter of Southeast Quarter; thence North 330 feet; thence
West 330 feet; thence South 300 feet to a point in the North
line of said right-of-way; thence East along the North line
of said right-of-way 330 feet to the place of beginning;
EXCEPT the East 20 feet thereof.

All four of the owners of this property are non-residents of
Washington. Also, their agent, who has been handling the property
for sometime past, is leaving for San Franciaco and will be gone next
week. In addition, the undersigned has two trials in Superior Court
next week.
As explained to us by Mr. Porter, this classification cha.nge is
probably not an urgent matter and it is respectfully requested that
the hearing on this matter be continued until the next monthly meeting
of the Planning Commission. This we feel is necessary because of the
difficulty involved, as set forth above, in adequately investiga,ting
the matter for the owners.
