The Comprehensive Plan indicates general commercial land use for the Barker Road-Appleway intersection,, including the northeast corner. In keeping with the Plan,, Lots 4 and 5, Block 5(Corbin Addition to Greenacres) were zoned "Commercial" in 1958 as part of the Greenacres business district.
