A. Reasons
1. This application was presented at the request of mobile home
property owners living on Corbin Road just north of the Greenacres
Junior High School. Lots 4 through 9 of Katherine's Subdivisfon
have attracted mobile home owners as prime residentfal lot sites
which they feel should be zoned for permanent location of their
traflers. Several "Conditional Use" permits for traflers have been
issued in the past for the area,
2. The Corbin Road vicinity between Cowley (or Main) and Alki
Avenues is presently in use as 1) open farm land, 2) single family
residences, and 3) trailers There are two (2) single family resi-
dences facing Corbin Road within the proposed zone change area
wfth one residence vacant Both residential property owners
signed the zone change petition. Four (4) mobile home s in the
same area face Corbin Road also e Bordering the area under dis-
cussion on the south is the Greenacres junior High School and
single family residences on acre tracts. Northward, strung out
'facing Alki Avenue, east and west of Corbin Road, are several
single family resfdences on acre tracts
3. That portion of Lot 5, Block 17 of Corbin Addition to Greenacres
should be deleted as the lot frontage is already developed,_ and
no road access is available to the rear portion of each loto
