Dear Mr. Huggins:
Attached you will find a letter from Mr. S. J. Bates, E. 15306 - 12th
Avenue, Veradale, Washington 99037, requesting approval of a zone
change. Mr. Bates' property is located at the northwest corner, at
the intersection of Fourth Avenue and McDonald Road, and the change
would be from agricultural suburban to multi-family residential.
It has long been the policy of the Board of Directors of the Central
Valley School District to take no action on zone changes of this
nature or suggested local improvement districts until well over
50% of the adjacent property owners have indicated their approval of
such a proposal.
The Board of Directors of the Central Valley District will not oppose
the proposed zone change since we understand that approximately 60%
of the property owners adjacent to the subject property have indicated
their approval of the requested change.
