That is why I measured from the center of the street to the new building line. I hope the 3 foot difference from

This e-mail will certify that I gave authorization for the setback at 3303 S. Melissa to be measured 25
feet inward from the property line. For the record, I talked with Tom Scholtens, Building Official,
regarding this determination and he concurred.

Hi Kevin — Kevin Myre is asking that we write a letter in regards to a setback we approved the
other day. The address is 3303 S. Melissa — it was the one where they showed a 33' front
setback on their front property line but apparently were measuring from where the grass met
the street, not an actual property line. We said they could do it, but Kevin only measured 52'
from the center of the roadway and that is making him nervous. Now I'm rethinking it as well.
What are your thoughts?
