The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 15-027 passed by the Spokane Valley City Council
on the 15`h'day of December 2015:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY, WASHINGTON
AMENDING SPOKANE VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE APPENDIX A RELATING TO DEFINITIONS
SPECIFIC TO THE SHORELINE MASTER PROGRAM, AND OTHER MATTERS RELATING
THERETO.
Section 1 explains that the purpose of this Ordinance is to amend Spokane Valley Municipal Code
Appendix A by removing definitions from Appendix A that are contained in the adopted Shoreline Master
Program.Section 2 sets out and adopts certain findings and conclusions relative to the revised SMP. Section
3 amends Appendix-A definitions as noted in the#1 attachment. Section 4 notes that all other provisions
of Appendix A not specifically referenced hereto shall remain in full force and effect. Section 5 speaks to
severability, and Section 6 sets the effective date as five days after publication of this Ordinance or a
summary thereof, in the official newspaper of the City of Spokane Valley.
