I spoke with Roger Rivers of Spokane County Utilities this afternoon regarding the above referenced permit. The
are putting a hold on the sewer permit for this lot as it has come to the attention of Utilities and the Health District
that there is a septic tank on the property that has not been abandoned. Roger has asked that we not issue the
permit until this issue has been resolved. The applicant has agreed to have the tank pumped and crushed, and
the Health Dept has agreed to inspect it free of charge. As soon as that has been completed, Roger will call me
and release the permit.

Three (3) to -scale (minimum scale is 1 inch = 20 feet) site plans showing the nature, location,
dimensions and elevation of the property and identifying the portion of the property located within
the designated floodplain, existing or proposed structures, location of proposed fill, location of
storage of materials, and the location of drainage facilities.

This is acknowledgement of information received concerning the floodplain and
the installation of a manufactured home in the Siesta Mobile Home Park
subdivision.
Spokane Valley Municipal Code Article VI. Floodplain Hazard Areas allows the
installation of a manufactured home in an existing approved manufactured
home park or subdivision located within a floodplain by elevating the chassis of
the home 36" above surrounding grade on reinforced concrete piers or the
equivalent of those piers.
This installation procedure does not provide the same level of safety from
floods in these areas as elevating the structure above the base flood elevation
of 1988 ft.
Signing this form indicates that the owner is aware of this condition and
recognizes that flood insurance, if desired by the property owner or
required by a lender, may be unavailable or extremely expensive.
Furthermore, the property owner recognizes that they are fully aware of
the base floodplain elevation and that this home is being installed below
that elevation.

Valley, WA. Visually, it appears to be very well compacted 519" crushed rock. It
also appears that is should easily support a foundation for a single story
