This Contract is revised as follows:
Description of Work
The Contractor may use C900 PVC pipe in lieu of Schedule A Storm Sewer Pipe for
pipe runs at the roundabout and on Mansfield Avenue as approved by the Engineer.
The Contractor shall replace the one Precast Concrete Drywell Type B- Swale,
located in the swale on the swouthwest comer of Pines/Mansfield, with 2 Precast
Concrete Drywell Type A- Swale.
The Contractor shall install one Precast Concrete Drywell Type B- Swale, in the
ditch line on Montgomery Avenue at STateion T 14+50 Rt.
In accordance with page 109 of the Special Provisions, Section 7-09.3(1)A is
supplemented, and a new contract item, Rock Excavation for Drainage, will be added.
Lines 1 through 14 on page 139 of the Special Provisions are deleted.
Materials
C900 PVC 8 Inch Diam. shall meet the requirements of Section 9-30.1(5)A.
Gravel Backfill for Drywells shall meet the requirements of Section 9-03.12(5)
Measurement
C900 PVC 8 Inch Diam. shall be measured by the linear foot.
Payment
Payment will be made for each of the following items:
Existing contract items:
Item 16, uPrecast Concrete Drywell Type B- Swale", per each.
Item 81, "Other Traffic Control Labor," per hour.
Item 82, "Flaggers and Spotters," per hour.
New contract items:
"Precast Concrete Drywell Type A- Swale", per each
"C900 PVC 8 Inch Diam.", per linear foot.
"Rock Excavation for Drainage", by force account as provided in Section 1-09.6.
