Dear Mr. Sodorff:
The Spokane County Building Codes Department has
requested the assistance of this office, as their statutory
legal counsel to enforce compliance with the Uniform. Build-
ing Code provisions relating to your property located at
the above address.
Our file reflects that you were informed of the
alleged violation in a letter, dated April 16, 1980 from
Mr. Jim A. Haines, Senior Building Technician for the
Spokane County Building Codes Department. Mr. Haines'
letter requested that you make payment in the amount of
$43.00 for the building permit on the swimming pool in
which you had applied for on July 13, 1979. In addition,
Mr. Haines' letter requested that said payment be made
within ten days of the date of that letter. As of this
data, our file reflects that you have failed to make
payment on the said building permit. Your alleged failure
to pay for the said building permit is a violation of the
Uniform Building Codes provisions.
Please be advised that a violation of the Uniform
Building Code provision is a misdemeanor, and upon convic-
tion thereof shall be subject to a fine of not more than
$500.00 or by imprisonment in the County jail for not more
than 90 days or by both fine and imprisonment.

the date of this letter to secure compliance with the Uni-
form. Building Code provisions relating to the above property
or make other arrangements with the Spokane County Building
Codes Department relating to this matter in order to avoid
the filing of a criminal complaint against you based upon
the alleged violation as outlined above.
