Dear Mr Pearson:
The Spokane County Building ,Codes Department has
requested the assistance of this office, as their statutory
legal counsel, in securing compliance with the Uniform Build-
ing Code provisions relating to your property, located at
East 7925 Nora.
Our file reflects that you were informed of the
alleged violation in a letter dated May 13, 1930 from Mr.
Morrie Arian, Senior Building Inspector for the Spokane County
Building Codes Department. Mr. Aman's letter requested that
you renew your building permit, No. N-2762, for the construc-
tion of a new garage on your property within ten days from
the date of that letter. As of this date, our file reflects
that you have failed to take any action as requested in Mr.
Aman's letter. Your alleged failure to renew the building
permit is a violation of the Uniform Building Code provisions.
Please be advised that a violation of the Uniform
Building Code is a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof,
you shall be subject to a fine of not more than $500.00 and/or
to a period of not more than 90 days in the County jail.
Be further advised that you have ten days from the
date of this letter to secure compliance with the Uniform
Building Code provisions relating to the above property or
make other arrangements with the Spokane County Building

Codes Department. If you fail to do so, this office will be
obligated to file a criminal complaint against you at the
request of the Spokane County Building Codes Department.

RL: Building permit renewal.
Dear Mr., Pearson:
Our district inspector reports that your building permit, No. N-2762, for the
construction/of a new garage for the address of E. 7925 Nora, has expired.
County Code states: "The building or work for which a permit is required shall
be completed within one year of the issuance date of the original permit, unless a
longer period of construction time is requested in writing at the time of issuance
and written approval granting this extended time limit is given by the Building
Official. Permits that expire before the structure is completed may be renewed for
one-half the original fee; PROVIDED, that application is made on or before the
expiration date of the original permit." Therefore, you are advised to obtain this
renewed permit to make this work legal. Your old permit is no -longer valid.
You are hereby advised that if you have not renewed your permit_ within ten (10)
working days of the date of this letter, this matter will be referred to our
•statuatory legsi co-nsel for further action.
Should you have any questions, please contact the undersigned building inspector
at 456-3675, between 3:00 and 4:00 p.m., weekdays.
