Mitigation: The City of Spokane Valley shall notify the Spokane Tribe the existing paving is being removed 48 hours prior to removal of the pavement to allow a Spokane Tribe representative to conduct a site visit to determine if the potential for the discovery of cultural artifacts exist. If the potential for discovery exists then an action plan will be coordinated between the City of Spokane Valley and the Spokane Tribe. A note shall be placed on the construction plan with instructions to notify the City three days prior to pavement removal to allow notification of the Spokane Tribe.
