The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 16-001 passed by the Spokane Valley City Council
on the 9111 day of February, 2016:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY WASHINGTON,
PROVIDING FOR A RIGHT-OF-WAY VACATION OF APPROXIMATELY 14,400 SQUARE FEET
OF 3RD AVENUE LOCATED BETWEEN SKIPWORTH AND PARCEL 45212.0711, AND
PROVIDING FOR OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATING THERETO.
Section 1 sets out certain Findings of Fact as to the area proposed to be vacated; Section 2 describes the
property to be vacated; Section 3 designates how the property to be vacated is to be divided; Section 4
designates the proper zoning for the vacated property; Section 5 sets out the conditions of vacation; Section
6 discusses closing requirements; Section 7 speaks to severability; and Section 8 designates the effective
date of this ordinance.
