In the event I am unable to attend the meeting on Monday, June 24th
at 1 P.M., with regarde to Mrs. Katherine Heck'e requeat for e. per..
mit to have a trailer houae located on her property juet sauth oP
mine, I write this letter as a Pormal disapproval to that request ae
this ie of grave concern to me.
In the years 1954 and 1955 I worked very he.rd to obtain a good suit-
able contractor to build lavely hames on the propertiee I owned e►t
that time and I went to considerable lengths to have restrictiona
put on the eale oF each of theBa lots for the protection of the indi..
v idual purohasere. I am etill residing on one of the above-mentioned
lota and feel that a trailer house would dePinitely hurt the entire
area and detract from the beauty of the location. With the view of
the mountaine the locale has, together wi.th the lovel~y surraunding
homee, a trailer houee could be nothing more than an 'eye--sore" to a
lovely valley ares.
It is not my desire to hurt the friendahip l enjoy with Katie Heck,
but the presence of e trailer house would defini#,.ely be contrary to,
ar,c3 dePeat the efForte I have put forth (ar.d am atill doing at the
present time) toward the eale oP the property I he.ve now listed with
a local realtor, and thia Droperty with Lhe eama restrictiong afore-
mentioned. (`Phese restrictione are filed at the Spokane County Court.-
house with Valley Heights Addition Platt). The property I am now re»
ferring to ie located within a few hundred feet of the proposed
trailer house site.
