The ventilation system has been checked for proper operation. If
designed for intermir.tent operation, the system is contr•elied
automatically by a time -of -day timer set to run for a minumum of
eight hours per day. If designed.for continuous operation, the
system is directly wired to a dedicated circuit in the Iectrical
panel.
Make-up air:
A duct provides fresh air directly into the return air nurrl of
the central forced air heating system. The duct is insulated to R4
if it runs through heated space. A motor -operated damper, located
within 36 inches of the air handler, prevents air from :entering
the plenum when ventilation is not called for. A clock timer
operates the designated whole --house exhaust fan, turn: on the HVAC
air handle and =. nechanic;il fresh L r dUct. _:._;li; •:? ,
whenever ventilation is needed.
Make-up air:
The outdoor intake: duct is equipped with a damper that limits flow
to 140.0 CFM udder normal operating conditions.
Fireplace/Woodstov :
Combustion air is ducted directly into the firebox. Duct has a
cross sectional ar =: of at least 6 square inches and a readily
