Gentlemen;
The application for CUE-54-61, Auto Wrecking and Salvage Yard
located in Section 14, Township 25 N., Range 43, E.W.M. lota 7
through 12, Block 11, Town of Yardley is protested by Moore
Perm A Mulch and Sawdust Company for the following reasons:
Moore Perm A Mulch and Sawdust CompAng has besn and atill ia
located on the property immediately ndjacent to the South of
the above described property now under consideratien ts be used
as an "Auto Wrecking and Salvege Yard" for the past fourteen
(14) years and stored on the property owned and eccupied by Moore
Perm A Mulch and Sawdust Company is app roximatelT 10,000 cords
ef sawdust sold as fuel and also manufactured into a horticul-
tural product.
I believe that the establishment of an "Auto Wrecking and Sal-
vage Yard" would necessitate the use of acetylene torchea and
other open flame, for the eutting ahd burning of old-)cara would
endanger the existence mf the mentioned approximately 10,000
cords of sawdust as well as be a fire hazard to the community
AS A iJYIOlA .
I further believe that the amvunt of Area is not large enough,
37,500 square feet, te properly maintain an "Auto Wrecking and
Salvage Xard", and would in due time create a very unsightly
atmosphere to the aroa.

We wish to go on record as being opposed to the granting of the
application of Mr. j~arl Pettibone to establish an suto wrecking
aad salvage yard on Section 14, Township 25 N., Range 43, E.W.M.
Lots 7 through 12, Block 11, Totian of Yardley.
We are opposed to this application for the following seasons:
1--Just south of the subject lots, the Smith-bfoore Sawdust
Coapany operates their facility. The Auto Wrecking and
Salvage business will undoubtedly involve welding and cutting
ivith acetylene torches, whith pose a very definite fire haz-
ard considering the proximity of the large sawdust pile be-
longing to Smith-Moore. This would affect our property, which
adjoins the subject property on the east, in that a fire in
the sawdust pile would cause a definite hazard to ous property.
2--We feel that a Salvage and Wrecking Yard would attract
a great number of people intent on stealing parts from the
yard. This would causea hazard to our business, in that not
being able to fa.nd what they might want in the wrecking yard
they might get the idea of coming to our property and building
and breaking in to see what might be offered here.
3--This area in which our business is located is developi.ng
into a very nice industrial area. I am sure that in future
