Civil Plan Conditional Acceptance
The Civil Plans, Drainage Report, and other supporting documents for the above-
mentioned project, which Development Engineering received on July 20th, 2009, have
been reviewed and found to be consistent with pertinent development regulations and
thus have been accepted provided the minor corrections described below are done.
Prior to Development Engineering signoff on the grading permit, the following items
shall be addressed:
1. The project engineer must submit Mylars for signature.
2. The following minor corrections will be checked on the Mylars prior to signing.
a. Sheet 2 shows "Protect proposed drywell from sediment". Please provide
BMP to be used. (SRSM 9.4.3.6)
3. Please include the following information on the approval stamp:
a. Project #: SHP-03-09
b. Project Name: Ford Short Plat
c. Date Accepted: August 4th, 2009
d. Acceptance Expires: August 4th, 2010
e. Dev. Eng. Reviewer: (Development Engineering signs/initials)
f. Project Lane Miles Public: (Applicant's Engineer fills in)
g. Project Lane Miles Private: (Applicant's Engineer fills in)
4. The project engineer must make five paper copies of the signed Mylar. The
original Mylar and the paper copies must be returned to the Permit Center to then
be forwarded to Development Engineering.
5. A pre -construction conference is not required. Please contact Rod Pegram, the
Development Engineering Inspector (688-0025) for project certification
requirements.

Next steps:
6. Contact the Planning Department (Martin Palaniuk, 688-0243) for additional
conditions that may exist.
7. Contact the Building Department (688-0036) for other requirements and needed
permits (e.g. right-of-way obstruction permit).
8. Final Plat —
a. Prior to final plat submittal, please contact Wayne McGavran at
wmcgavran@spokanevalley.org or 509-688-0038 to obtain plat language
from Development Engineering.
b. Prior to acceptance, the applicant or successors in interest shall submit:
i. The Homeowner's Association Unified Business Identifier (UBI)
number is required.
