Gentlemen:
I, Sue June Petersen, have a 33 year old natural born son,
and a 13 year old adopted son, both of whom are mentally
deficient. The boys and myself presently live in a two
bedroom frame house with a bedroom in the basement which
is located on the Northeast corner of my property as shown
on the sketch attached.
My present plans are to purchase a 24' x 701, 3 bedroom,
mobile home, with lap siding and composition roof, made by
Golden West. I plan to put this home on a daylight base-
ment on the back half of the proQerty for my sons and my-
self to live in. The present house we occupy will be used
as lease property.
In addition to my own two boys, I wi].1 take care of two
other mentally retarded young men who are furnished me as
foster children by the State. I am fully qualified for
this work, am a licensed foster home parent and meet a -
very specific need for our State.
Consequently, I need the space a basement will afford the
boys and ask for a conditional use permit for a minimum
period of 5 years, but hopefully 8 years, and plan to
carry on my work indefinitely.
Thank you for your careful consideration on my request for
a mobile home conditional use permit.
